2009 Nashville 300

Joey Logano drove the number 20 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota past his teammate Kyle Busch to win the NASCAR Nationwide Series Nashville 300. This is Logano’s first win of the year and second of his career.

Logano, known as “Sliced Bread” (as in “the greatest thing since…”), led 95 of the 225 laps, most in the race.  Busch led 77 laps as the two JGR teammates dominated the race.

Rounding out the top 5 are Brad Keselowski, Kelly Bires, and Carl Edwards. Edwards continues to lead the series by 23 points over Busch.

In addition to the $47,020 in winnings, Logano receives a custom Sam Bass-painted Gibson Les Paul guitar as a trophy.
