2009 O’Reilly Challenge

Fort Worth – Kyle Busch wins the NASCAR Nationwide Series O’Reilly Challenge at Texas Motor Speedway.  This is Busch’s 4th consecutive NNS victory at Texas, his 8th victory of the season.

Busch dominated the race, leading 179 of 200 laps. Busch obviously enjoys the Texas track, “We love coming out to Texas. This is for some reason one of my best race tracks. I seem to really like getting around here. This car was flawless again today. We’ve had cars that have been flawless like this for the past four races here.”

Busch extends his lead in the NNS point standings to 272 points over 2nd-place Carl Edwards with 2 races remaining. Edwards finished 9th on the day.

Finishing 2nd was Casey Mears, his 3rd top-10 finish in 5 races at Texas Motor Speedway.

Jason Leffler finished 3rd.  Rounding out the top-5 were pole-sitter Matt Kenseth and Brad Keselowski.
