ARCA rolls into Texas

For the first time in a dozen years, the ARCA Racing Series presented by RE/MAX and Menards rolls into Texas Motor Speedway.  The Rattlesnake 150 takes place Friday night at 6:30.

Two drivers are enjoying a homecoming, Lance Fenton of Tyler, TX and Nur Ali of Fort Worth.  Ali, a graduate of Trinity High School,  is the first Asian-American driver in the ARCA racing series.  “When I found out the ARCA series was coming back to Texas,” said Ali, “My and I were ecstatic.  Being able to run in a stock car during a NASCAR weekend is going to be very exciting.”

Also running in the race is James Buescher, of Plano, TX.  Buescher is a regular in the NASCAR Nationwide and Camping World Truck Series.
