Back in order at Wimbledon

Day 5 at Wimbledon provided a return to normalcy after the record-breaking events of the week.  No. 1 Roger Federer regained the form that has made him a 6-time champion with a straight sets win over Arnaud Clement.  No. 3 Novak Djokovic also won in straight sets over Albert Montanes.  American Andy Roddick (5) needed 4 sets to defeat Philipp Kohlschreiber.

John Isner finally ran out of energy after his marathon 3-day match and lost quickly to Thiemo De Bakker.

Venus Williams (2), Jelena Jankovic (4) and Kim Clijsters (8) all had little trouble dispatching their opponents and moving into the 4th round.

Justine Henin (17) continued her comeback with an easy win over Nadia Petrova (12).  Marion Bartoli (11) and Vera Zvonareva (21) also advanced, as did unseeded players Tsvetana Pironkova and Jarmila Groth.
