Bedene Wins Irving Tennis Classic
Aljaz Bedene of Great Britain defeated Mikhail Kukushkin of Kazakhstan 6-4, 3-6, 6-1 in the final of the BMW Of Dallas Irving Tennis Classic at the Four Season Resort and Club in Las Colinas. The 27 year old is now 14-1 in Irving, having won here in 2015 (d. Smyczek) and finished runner-up last year (l. Granollers). The win is his 12th Challenger title.
In the doubles competition, the team of Marcus Daniell (NED) and Marcelo Demoliner (BRA) defeated Oliver Marach (AUT) and Fabrice Martin (FRA) 6-3, 6-4.
