DALLAS, TX, February 6, 2012 — Wayne Odesnik (USA) opens up Tuesday against American Brian Baker (USA). Action starts at 10:30am in the Pavilion located at T Bar M Racquet Club in Dallas, Texas.

Carsten Ball from Australia will take on Carlos Salamanca (COL) following the Odesnik/Baker match. Ball was one of the top seeds in the tournament two years ago when he made it to the semifinals.

The first official night session for the 2012 $100,000 YpChallenger of Dallas was a sure success. Robert Kendrick (USA) and Mark Knowles (BAH) defeated Sam Querrey (USA) and Chris Wettengel (USA) 7-5, 6-3 to begin the weeks night session. Tuesday is sure to offer any tennis fan a delicious treat for Tuesday’s night session. American Jack Sock takes on unprecedented two time Challenger champion and #1 seed Robert Kendrick in the late afternoon hours. The night session begins at 6:30pm with recent Hawaii Challenger finalist Robby Ginepri and his partner Travis Rettenmaier, also of the United States. They are set to take on Americans Jesse Levine and Denis Kudla.

Following the explosive doubles match, Sam Querrey takes on Alex Kuznetsov. Both Americans are on the comeback trail. Sam Querrey’s career high rank was #17, achieved on January 31, 2011. His height allows him to play with a strong serve and forehand. Querrey holds the record for most consecutive service aces since the ATP began keeping records of those statistics, with 10 in a 2007 match against James Blake.

Alex Kuznetsov is an American tennis player, accomplished in junior tennis. He moved from Ukraine to the US when he was 3 years old. Some consider him to be among the “next wave” of American tennis players, along with other young American players such as Sam Querrey, John Isner, Jesse Witten, Ryan Sweeting, and Jesse Levine.

Tuesday night’s food will be provided by Palios Pizza and will showcase KSWISS as the featured brand of the evening.

Tickets to the event can be purchased online at www.ChallengerofDallas.com
