Cowboys Lose At Cardinals

The Dallas Cowboys looked inept as they lost a preseason game against Arizona on Saturday.  The Cardinals did not even need to score a touchdown to defeat the Cowboys 12-7.

Dallas gave up 6 turnovers, 3 fumbles and 3 interceptions.  They also committed 5 turnovers, mostly on key downs.

Dallas’ only points came on a 5-yard pass from Alex Tanney to Gavin Escobar with 10:55 left in the game.

The bright spot for the Cowboys was the defense. Despite Arizona getting the ball in good field position, Dallas was able to hold them out of the end zone.  The Cardinals were held to just 33% on third down, and were unsuccessful on two 4th-down attempts.

The Cowboys will return to Valley Ranch for the final two weeks of training camp and play their next two exhibition games at home, beginning Saturday against Cincinnati.
