Dallas, TX.,  — With the HP Byron Nelson Championship less than a month away, the inaugural Astellas presents Executive Women’s Day at the HP Byron Nelson Championship promises to be an amazing experience. More than 200 women will gather on Tuesday, May 14th at the Four Seasons Resort and Club Dallas at Las Colinas to participate in an engaging day, taking on topics vital to their professional and personal development.

“We are honored that the HP Byron Nelson Championship was selected by the PGA TOUR and Astellas to join sixteen other tournaments in hosting an Executive Women’s Day this year,” said Mike McKinley, 2013 tournament chairman. “The tournaments at which these events have already taken place have reported great success. We understand that every event so far has been sold out and the tournaments have received terrific feedback from attendees. The Four Seasons at Las Colinas and the HP Byron Nelson will provide a compelling venue for this program and all of us are looking forward to our inaugural event next month.”

The day begins with a breakfast panel that includes:

• Kellie Fischer – Executive Vice President & CFO, Texas Rangers

• Susan Abrahamson – President, SearchCom, Inc.

• Regina Montaya – Senior Vice President and General Counsel, Children’s Medical Center of Dallas

Following the breakfast, the participants will take part in a behind the scenes tour of the HP Byron Nelson Championship to get an up close and personal view of various aspects of the tournament, including the media center, the network television compound, Shot Link operations and Corporate Hospitality locations.

The lunch program will feature Molly Fletcher as the keynote speaker. An entrepreneur, author and speaker, Fletcher is the author of two books, Your Dream Job Game Plan and The Business of Being the Best and is the founder of The Betterment Institute, an e-learning portal. A trailblazer throughout her career, she has been featured in CNN, ESPN, Sports Illustrated, the Wall Street Journal and USA Today, and regularly contributes to FOX News.

Following lunch, the program shifts to the “Wine Down – Network Up” portion of the day where the local, regional and national businesswomen will enjoy a unique networking opportunity.

“Astellas is pleased to present a series of exciting events that engage local communities throughout the PGA TOUR season with Executive Women’s Day,” said Pamela Buford, Director, Consumer Marketing at Astellas. “The goals for all of these events are to educate and connect with the engaged and growing female fan base of the PGA TOUR in a meaningful and productive way, and offer information that promotes overall well-being.”
