FC Dallas improved to 7-1-3 with a 2-1 victory over DC United Saturday night in Frisco.  With the win, Dallas stretches their unbeaten streak to 9 games.

Dallas took the lead early on a Jackson kick to the goal from a pass by Eric Hassli.  It is the 10th time in 11 games that FC Dallas scored first.

DC tied the game just before the half on a kick by Dwayne De Rosario.  It is the first time Dallas has given up a first half goal all season.

Dallas kept up the pressure in the second half, with the game-winner coming off the chest of Je_Vaughn Watson from a corner kick by Michel in the 77th minute.  It is Watson’s first goal of 2013.

It was a rough game on the field, as 5 yellow cards were handed out by referee Matthew Foerster.

First place FC Dallas travels to Seattle on Saturday while DC United will try to dig out of the celler against Sporting KC on Sunday.
