FC Dallas Falls To Colorado

{fshare id=2550}

FC Dallas put up a good fight, but eventually fell 2-0 to a Colorado Rapids team that had 2 extra players on Sunday night.

Before halftime, both Daniel Hernandez and Blas Perez were issued red cards which left Dallas 2 players short for the next 55 minutes of the  game.  The FCD defense played admirably, keeping Colorado scoreless for the remainder of the half and the first 15 minutes of the second period.  The odds caught up with them when Jaime Castrillon scored the game’s first goal in the 65th minute.  After that, the frenzy began and Martin Rivero sealed the game in the 74th minute.

FCD goalkeeper Kevin Hartman was kept busy, saving 7 of 9 shots on goal.  Colorado made 23 attempts on goal, compared to just 1 for Dallas.

FC Dallas will have a short turnaround, hosting Seattle on Wednesday night.  Tickets are available at fcdallas.com
