FC Dallas and the Portland Timbers played to a 1-1 draw Saturday night in Frisco.

Blas Perez put Dallas on the scoreboard midway through the first period with his first MLS goal.  Perez rebounded a Bryan Levya shot that was deflected by Portland goalie Troy Perkins.  Perez took advantage with a wide-open shot up the middle.

Portland tied the game in the second half on a shot by Darlington Nagbe.

Goalkeeper Kevin Hartman saved two shots as Portland mounted a furious 2nd-half attack.

FC Dallas (1-0-1) makes it’s first road trip of the year next week, taking on Kansas City.
