FC Dallas Ties Seattle

FC Dallas battled to a 1-1 tie with the Seattle Sounders on Sunday night at FC Dallas Stadium in Frisco.

Dallas is barely keeping their slim playoff hopes alive, 4 points out of 5th place for the final spot with 5 games remaining.  FC Dallas has won just 5 of 15 games at home this season.

Jackson scored the lone goal for Dallas in the 32nd minute on a pass from Blas Perez.  It is the Brazilian’s 3rd goal of the season.

Also on Sunday, FC Dallas announced midfielder Brek Shea will join the U.S. Men’s National Team today to prepare for the squad’s upcoming World Cup Qualifiers (full story here).

FC Dallas will return to action September 9 against Leon at FC Dallas Stadium.
