Fielder Named AL Comeback Player of the Year

Texas Rangers designated hitter/first baseman, Prince Fielder, has been named the recipient of the 2015 American League Comeback Player of the Year Award. After appearing in just 42 games in the 2014 season due to a neck injury, Fielder returned in 2015 to bat .305 with 23 home runs and 98 RBI in 158 games for your A.L. West Division Champion Rangers.

The Comeback Player of the Year Awards are officially sanctioned by Major League Baseball and are presented annually to one player in each League who has re-emerged on the field during the season.
