Fort Worth’s Troy Taylor Wins TMS Dirt Track Title

FORT WORTH, Texas (Sept. 17, 2011) – Fort Worth native Troy Taylor picked up his third career win at the Texas Motor Speedway Dirt Track on Saturday evening, making him the first driver to earn three championship titles in the speedway’s history.

Taylor earned $2,000 for the Port-a-Cool U.S. National Dirt Track Limited Modified championship as well as a new Cyclone 3000 portable air conditioning unit courtesy of Port-a-Cool.

Haughton, La., native Ray Moore earned his second Texas Motor Speedway Dirt Track win by capturing the O’Reilly Auto Parts SUPR Late Model championship while Sunnyville’s Clyde Dunn became a first-time winner in the Modified division.

The Port-a-Cool U.S. National Dirt Track Championship – the second of two dirt track events hosted annually by the speedway – drew more than 200 dirt racers from around the country.
