Frisco Loses In Arkansas

The Frisco RoughRiders dropped their 4th game in a row, losing to the Arkansas Travelers 7-6 Monday night in North Little Rock.

The Riders had a 4-run lead going into the 9th inning, but Arkansas came up with 5 hits, including the 2-out game-winning home run by Roberto Lopez.

Reliever Ryan Rodebaugh is credited with the loss after pitching to 2 batters in the 9th.  Starter Jacob Brigham went 6 innings, allowing 2 runs on 7 hits, while striking out 8.  Wilfredo Boscan pitched 2 2/3 innings, giving up 3 runs on 3 hits and striking out 4.

Mike Olt belted his 22nd home run of the season for Frisco.  Alex Buchholtz hit his 5th homer.  The RoughRiders generated 12 total hits in the game.

Frisco continues the series at Arkansas tonight at 7:10pm.  Barret Loux is scheduled to be on the mound.  Loux has a record of 11-1, with an ERA of 3.87.
