FRISCO, TEXAS  – The Frisco RoughRiders won game four of their series against the Corpus Christi Hooks 4-2 Monday night at Dr Pepper Ballpark. The victory was the second straight for the ‘Riders, and resulted in a series split between the two teams.

For the first time in almost a week, the ‘Riders were the first to score. A first inning single by Alex Buchholz to center brought Jared Hoying home from third, putting Frisco up 1-0.

In the fifth, a leadoff double by Guilder Rodriguez put the ‘Riders in scoring position. Hanser Alberto then knocked him in with an RBI single to tie the game at two.

The ‘Riders (13-11) retook the lead in the sixth after Chih-Hsien Chiang scored on a groundout by Ryan Strausborger. Later in the inning, Tomas Telis stole third and scored on a throwing error by Hooks catcher Rene Garcia to put Frisco up 4-2, which became the final score.
