Texas Rangers superstar Josh Hamilton hit a walk-off home run to lift the Rangers past the Toronto Blue Jays 8-7 in 13 innings.

After Texas fell behind 7-5 in the 13th, Ian Kinsler led off the bottom of the inning with a walk and scored on an Elvis Andrus double to deep centerfield.  With Andrus on base, Hamilton hit his 20th home run of the season, the 3rd walk-off homer of his career.

Hamilton wasn’t the only Ranger to go deep, as Nelson Cruz, Yorvit Torrealba, and Mitch Moreland hit consecutive home runs in the 6th inning.

All of the Texas starters had a hit in the game.

Starting pitcher Colby Lewis went 5 1/3 innings, giving up 4 runs on 10 hits while striking out 6.  Relievers Alexi Ogando, Mike Adams, Joe Nathan, Koji Uehara, Robby Ross, and Yoshi Tateyama all saw action.  Tateyama earns the win, despite only pitching to 2 batters.

Texas and Toronto finish the series Sunday afternoon at the Ballpark in Arlington.  First pitch is at 2:05pm.  Yu Darvish will try to seal the series sweep for the Rangers.
