HP Byron Nelson Championship Youth Clinic To Feature Jordan Spieth

Irving, Texas, May 16, 2011 – HP Byron Nelson Championship officials have announced that the Youth Clinic will be hosted by PGA TOUR player Harrison Frazar and local amateur Jordan Spieth, and will feature Dan Boever, golf entertainer and 2008 RE/MAX World Long Drive Sr. Champion.

The Youth Clinic, which is free to the public, will take place Tuesday, May 24 at 5 p.m. on the TPC Four Seasons Practice Range. Free parking will be available in the Byron Nelson Way lot, which is across the street from the practice range. Boever will entertain the crowd with trick golf shots, long drives and tips. The Clinic will also feature an appearance from Rowdy, the official Dallas Cowboys mascot, free cupcakes from Sprinkles Cupcakes and other giveaways including t-shirts from the North Texas PGA.

As an added bonus for families, kids 13 and under will also receive free admission to the tournament when accompanied by a ticketed adult, courtesy of Tom Thumb.

The 2011 HP Byron Nelson Championship will be played May 23-29 at TPC Four Seasons Resort Las Colinas in Irving.
