Jones Not Easing Up On Elliott

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones doesn’t expect his team to lessen the workload for rookie sensation running back Ezekiel Elliott anytime soon.
Elliott, a 21-year-old who leads the NFL in rushing yards (1,199) and ranks second with 11 touchdowns, has been a major contributor during the Cowboys’ 10-game winning streak en route to a league-best 10-1 record.
“The more we give Ezekiel the ball then I think the better,” Jones said, via ESPN.com. “We’re winning with that. We’re wearing them down on defense.”
Elliott has 243 carries this season, the most in the league, and is on pace for 354, which would be a Cowboys rookie record according to ESPN.
“I don’t believe in the rookie wall,” Elliott told reporters before Dallas’ win over the Washington Redskins on Thanksgiving.
“If you take care of your body and you’re strong mentally then you should be fine.
