K.J. Choi, Angel Cabrera and Robert Allenby commit to HP Byron Nelson Championship

Irving, TX, May 18, 2011 – K.J. Choi, Angel Cabrera and Robert Allenby have officially committed to play in the 2011 HP Byron Nelson Championship.

2011 THE PLAYERS Championship winner K.J. Choi is ranked No. 3 on the money list for the year and No. 6 for the FedExCup standings. Choi will be making his seventh appearance at the Championship.

Two-time Major winner Angel Cabrera is making his first appearance at the HP Byron Nelson Championship. Currently ranked No. 7 in driving distance, Cabrera has finished seventh on the PGA TOUR twice in 2011.

Robert Allenby’s best finish on the PGA TOUR in 2011 was at the Northern Trust Open, where he finished T4. He has won four times on the PGA TOUR. This will be his 10th Nelson appearance.  

The 2011 HP Byron Nelson Championship will be played Memorial Day weekend, May 23-29, at TPC Four Seasons Resort Las Colinas in Irving.
