Legends Defeat Santa Cruz

FRISCO, TX  –JJ Avila had his first career triple-double to lead the Texas Legends (26-20) to victory over the Santa Cruz Warriors (22-23) 111-95.

Texas rolled through the third behind a perfect performance from Jordan Downing, who finished 4-for-4 (2-for-2 outside) for 10 points.  Avila came alive in the fourth, grabbing 8 points, 7 rebounds, and dishing out 2 assists as the Legends took their largest lead of the night (+20) midway through to stay out of reach of the visitors’ comeback efforts.
