Mavericks defeat Bobcats

The Dallas Mavericks defeated the Charlotte Bobcats 101-92 Saturday night.  It is the 8th straight win for Dallas.   During this win streak, the Mavericks have averaged 103.6 points per game.  Dallas is now 25-1 when scoring at least 100 points.   “For us, on the road, we wanted to get off to a good start and we did.” said Mavs Jason Kidd.  “Then we got off to even a better start in the third quarter. But at the end of the night we just want more points than the other team and we did that again here.”

Dirk Nowitzki led all scores with 25.  Jason Terry came off the bench to score 21.  A total of 5 Dallas players scored in double-digits.  Tyson Chandler grabbed 15 rebounds and Jason Kidd led the team with 6 assists.

The Mavericks return home to play Cleveland on Monday.
