The Mavericks recorded their largest margin of victory this season with a 15-point (96-81) win over the New Orleans Hornets on Saturday at the American Airlines Center.

For the first time this season, six players scored in double figures for Dallas. Vince Carter (13), Ian Mahinmi (13), Delonte West (12), Jason Terry (12), Rodrigue Beaubois (11) and Dirk Nowitzki (10) all scored 10-plus points for the Mavericks in the win. All 11 Mavericks that saw the floor in the first half scored for Dallas, and eight had at least five points apiece at intermission.

Rodrigue Beaubois went 3-of-5 from beyond the arc en route to a season-high 11 points on Saturday (previous 10 vs. Denver 12/26/11). Dirk Nowitzki, who averaged 28.0 points per game against New Orleans last season (his highest scoring average against any team that he played at least three times in 2010-11), managed 10 points on Saturday. He now needs just 37 more points to become the 23rd player in NBA history with 23,000 career points.

The attendance for the game was 20,409. The Mavs have now sold out 405 consecutive regularseason games at American Airlines Center, which is an NBA-best sellout streak. The streak began on Dec. 15, 2001 and Dallas has sold out an additional 58 playoff games during that stretch.

The Mavericks’ next game is at Detroit at 6:30 p.m. CT.
