Mavs Crush Nuggets 105-95

The Dallas Mavericks ended their 3-game slump with a 105-95 victory over the Nuggets Wednesday night in Denver.   It is the Mavericks’ first victory against the Nuggets in their last 5 meetings.

Dirk Nowitzki led all scorers with 25 points and grabbed 9 rebounds.  Dallas coach Rick Carlisle liked Nowitzki’s effort, “An All-Star performance, didn’t you think? He’s getting back into a groove offensively and he’s looking like himself.”

Vince Carter scored 17 for the Mavs and dished out 8 assists.  Shawn Marion and Rodrique Beaubois each scored 13.  Brandan Wright came off the bench for 10 points.

Dallas spread the ball around with 30 assists in the game without Jason Kidd, who missed his sixth straight game with a strained calf.
