Mavs Lose To Knicks In NY

The Dallas Mavericks fell to the New York Knicks 104-94 last night at Madison Square Garden.  The Mavericks fall to 4-2 on the season.

O.J. Mayo led the Mavs in scoring with 23 points.  Vince Carter added 15, Chris Kaman scored 14, and Brandan Wright rounded out the Mavericks in double-figures with 11.

Carmelo Anthony led all scorers with 31 points for the Knicks.

Dallas was held to just 37 points in the 2nd half to end their hot streak.  Playing without Dirk Nowitzki and Shawn Marion, the Mavs had won 3 straight games coming into this matchup. 

The Mavs travel to Charlotte today for a game against the Bobcats.
