The Dallas Mavericks lost at home in overtime to the Portland Trailblazers 99-97.  LaMarcus Aldridge hit the game-winning shot as time expired in overtime to give the Blazers the win. Both meetings between the Blazers and the Mavericks this season have been decided in extra time (Dallas defeated Portland 97-94 in double-overtime on 2/11).

Mavericks forward Dirk Nowitzki finished with a team-high 23 points and a game-high 14 rebounds, giving him his second straight double-double and his 10th of the season.

Jason Terry (18), Brandan Wright (13) and Rodrigue Beaubois (10) combined for 41 points off the Mavericks’ bench. Dallas’ bench outscored Portland’s bench 44-27 on the night.  Terry passed former Maverick Peja Stojakovic (1,760) for fifth place on the NBA’s all-time 3-point field goals made list. Terry went 4-of-9 from beyond the arc against the Blazers on Friday and has now made 1,764 3-pointers in his career, including 1,116 with Dallas.

The Mavericks’ next game is at Memphis on April 7 at 7:00 p.m. CT.
