The Dallas Mavericks lost at home Wednesday night 95-86 to the Oklahoma City Thunder.  Oklahoma City outscored Dallas 10-1 in the final 2 minutes to seal the victory.

Jason Terry scored a team-high 25 points (7-10 FGs, 2-4 3FGs, 9-9 FTs) to go along with three assists and two steals in 36 minutes for Dallas off the bench. It marked the eighth time this season that Terry has led the team in scoring, including the third time in the past five games. It was also his fourth 20-point effort of the season.

Ian Mahinmi appeared in his 111th career-regular season game (79th as a Maverick) against Oklahoma City on Wednesday and recorded his first career start. Mahinmi started in place of Brendan Haywood (lower back stiffness) and collected six points and six boards in the first half. He finished with six points and nine rebounds on the night. Although he has only one double-digit rebounding effort this season (10 at L.A. Lakers 1/16/12), Mahinmi has now grabbed exactly nine rebounds on four different occasions.

Brandan Wright tallied a season-high 12 points (4-5 FGs, 4-6 FTs) and a season-high-tying three blocks in a season-high 25 minutes off the bench for Dallas.

Mavericks forward Dirk Nowitzki was held to eight points on 2-for-15 shooting (0-for-5 from 3-point range). It was just the third time in his 14-year career that he played at least 37 minutes (37:40) and sank two or fewer field goals.

Thunder forward Serge Ibaka recorded a double-double with 11 rebounds and a season-high 10 blocks in 40 minutes. The 10 blocks were the most by any player in the NBA this season.

Mavericks forward Lamar Odom was not with the team (stomach illness). Mavericks center Brendan Haywood did not dress (lower back stiffness). Mavericks point guard Jason Kidd missed his third consecutive game with a strained right calf.

The Mavericks’ next game is vs. Indiana on Feb. 3 at 7:30 p.m. CT
