Mavs Rally To Beat Thunder

The Dallas Mavericks overcame a 15-point deficit in the final 5 minutes of regulation against the Oklahoma City Thunder in Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals.  Dallas went on to win 112-105 in overtime to take a 3-1 series lead.

Dirk Nowitzki led Dallas with 40 points, 12 of those during that 5-minute comeback.  Jason Terry added 20 for the Mavs and Jason Kidd added 17 plus 7 assists.

The Dallas defense held Oklahoma City to just 2 points on 1 for 9 shooting during the final 5 minutes.  Dallas head coach Rick Carlisle explained, “It was all about getting stops at the end. This team has been a resourceful group and extremely opportunistic. The way they hung in there was fantastic.”

The Mavericks will try to close out the series in Game 5 on Wednesday night at the American Airlines Center in Dallas.
