North Texas Fares Well At State Championships
DFW area schools maintained their dominance in the State High School football Championships this weekend.
Allen won their 3rd title in a row in the top event, the 6A Div I Championship, defeating Cypress Ranch 47-16.
Cedar Hill repeated as 6A Div II champions with a 23-20 win over Katy.
Aledo won the 5A Div I title, defeating Temple 49-45.
Ennis defeated Cedar Park 38-35 for the 5A Div II Championship.
Argyle lost in overtime to Navasota 42-35 in the 4A Div I game
Gilmer defeated West Orange-Stark 35-25 for the 4A Div II title.
