Power On The Pole For TMS Indy Race

Will Power won the pole for Saturday’s IZOD IndyCar Series Firestone 550 at Texas Motor Speedway. Power qualified with a speed of 219.182 mph. This is Power’s second pole award of the season and 31st of his Indy career.
Marco Andretti qualified second. It is his best qualifying effort of the year, he started 3rd at Indianapolis.
Ryan Hunter-Reay will make his best start at TMS in the third spot. Dario Franchitti qualified fourth. Making his fifth straight top-five start is E.J. Viso.
