Rangers blow lead, lose to Mariners

The Texas Rangers took a 3-1 lead into the 9th inning.  Unfortunately, they also took relief pitcher Franco Francisco.  Francisco faced 5 batters in the 9th, 4 got on base and 3 scored.  Francisco has struggled in this first week of the season, blowing 2 saves and having a whopping 27 ERA.

The Texas starting pitcher again had a solid game.  Matt Harrison only allowed 1 run through 6 innings.  Outfielder Nelson Cruz continued with the hot bat as he hit his 4th home run of the year.

The Rangers fall to 2-3.
