Rangers fall apart in loss to Blue Jays

Alexi Ogando made another quality start for the Rangers, giving up just 2 runs on 4 hits with 7 strikeouts in 6 innings of play.  Unfortunately, the Texas Rangers bullpen and fielders unraveled in the 9th inning to send the Toronto Blue Jays home as winners of 3 games in the 4-game series.

With the game tied at 2, Texas reliever Darren Oliver gave up 3 runs in the 9th inning after a combination of hits, walks, and errors amounted to 3 Blue Jay runs.

The 5-2 victory by Toronto comes at a time when the Rangers are reeling, having lost 9 of the last 15 games.

Texas had 7 hits in the game, including two each by Kinsler, Andrus, and Beltre.

The Rangers return to the road as they face Oakland Friday night.
