Rangers jersey alert begins tonight

ARLINGTON — Texas-Rangers fans will be able to “color coordinate” their ballpark attire with the team on the field with the activation of the Rangers Jersey Alert. The Rangers today announced details of the new program.

“We have received input from our fans in recent weeks that they would like to know the color jersey the team will be wearing in advance,” commented Rangers Managing Partner & CEO Chuck Greenberg, “If we are wearing white, blue, or red jerseys for the next day’s home game, fans will now be able to dress accordingly when they come to Rangers Ballpark in Arlington.”

After each home game, the Rangers will announce what color jersey the club is wearing for the following day’s game. That information will be available on texasrangers.com/jerseys and will be announced during post-game programming on television (Fox Sports Southwest or TXA21) and radio (105.3 FM or 1080 AM).

To open the weekend the series with the Yankees, the Rangers will be wearing red jerseys on Friday night.

Less than 1,500 reserved tickets remain for tonight’s 7:05 game, which features a performance by Blue Man Group and a post-game fireworks show set to patriotic music. Once the supply of reserved seats for Friday has been exhausted, standing room only tickets, priced at $15.00 each, will go on sale exclusively at the ticket office at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington.

Fans are reminded to allow extra time in traveling to Rangers Ballpark in Arlington this evening with the Super Bowl XLV Countdown Concert at Cowboys Stadium also taking place tonight.

For Saturday’s 7:05 p.m. game, scattered single and obstructed view seats as well as standing room only tickets are on sale. Standing room only tickets can be purchased only at the Rangers Ballpark in Arlington ticket office. There are less than 7,000 reserved seats remaining for Sunday’s 2:05 series finale.
