Rangers Lose At Home Again

The Texas Rangers fell to the Detroit Tigers 8-1 Tuesday night at the Ballpark in Arlington.

Starter Matt Harrison could only last 4 innings after he gave up 4 runs in the 4th.  Harrison, fighting through a kidney stone and a blister on his finger, dropped to 5-5 on the season.

The Texas relievers did not fare much better, allowing runs in each of the final three innings.  Detroit finished the game with 20 hits.

Ian Kinsler and David Murphy were the only Rangers to have multiple hits in the game, with Kinsler scoring the only Texas run.  Nelson Cruz’ 10-game hitting streak came to an end as he was 0-for-3 at the plate.

Texas will try to turn things around against Detroit tonight at 7:05pm.
