Rangers Lose In 9th

The Texas Rangers lost at home to the Chicago White Sox on a 9th inning home run by Alex Rios off Rangers closer Joe Nathan.  The lead-off homer gave Chicago a 4-3 victory Saturday night at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington.

Texas starter Derek Holland went 6 innings, giving up 3 runs on 3 hits, while striking out 5.  Alexi Ogando and Mike Adams each pitched scoreless innings for the Rangers before turning the game over to Nathan at 3-3.

The Rangers had their chances, garnering 10 hits in the game.  Ian Kinsler had 2 hits, including a triple in the 3rd that led to a run when Elvis Andrus followed it with a single. Michael Young also had 2 hits and scored a run.  

David Murphy hit 2 doubles, but was left stranded on base each time.

The Rangers and White Sox have split the first two games of the series, with game 3 tonight at the Ballpark.
