Rangers Lose In New York

The Texas Rangers dropped another game at Yankee Stadium with a 3-0 loss to New York.

Starting pitcher Matt Harrison threw 6 shutout innings before allowing Derek Jeter to get on base in the 7th.  Alexi Ogando gave up back-to-back home runs to Nick Swisher and Mark Teixeira for the Yankees 3 runs.

The Rangers offense was held to just 2 hits in the complete game performance by Yankee pitcher Hiroki Kuroda.  Josh Hamilton (11 games) and Nelson Cruz (8 games) each had hitting streaks come to an end.

The Rangers face the Yankees again tonight in New York.  Scott Feldman will be on the mound for Texas against New York’s Freddy Garcia.  Game time is 6:05pm.
