Rangers lose to A’s

The Texas Rangers lost to the Oakland A’s 7-2 in Oakland Sunday.  Matt Harrison lasted just an inning and 2/3 as he gave up 4 runs on 6 hits and 2 walks.  Harrison has dropped 3 straight after starting the year 3-0.

The Rangers have lost 11 of the last 18 games.

Dave Bush replaced Harrison for the Rangers and pitched the next 4 innings, giving up just 3 hits and striking out 4. 

The Texas batters didn’t help much, getting just 8 scattered hits.

The Rangers and A’s play again Monday afternoon in Oakland.
