Rangers Lose To Mariners

The Texas Rangers lost to the Seattle Mariners 4-3 on Wednesday night in Arlington.

Starting pitcher Derek Holland gave 6 innings, allowing 3 runs in the no-decision.  Reliever Koji Uehara earned the loss by allowing a run in the 7th.

Offensively, Josh Hamilton and Ian Kinsler each hit home runs for the Rangers only scores.  Texas only had 8 hits in the entire game.

Texas remains a game and a half ahead of the LA Angels for the AL West lead as a result of the Angels loss to the Yankees.  The Rangers have the day off before starting a series in Oakland on Friday.
