Rangers Rally To Win In 11

After falling behind by 5 runs in less than 2 innings, the Texas Rangers kept chipping away and eventually defeated the Cleveland Indians 8-7 in 11 innings.

Starting pitcher Derek Holland could only last 1 2/3 innings, giving up 6 quick runs.  Rangers manager Ron Washington went to his bullpen, who gave up just 1 additional run in 9 1/3 innings.  Scott Feldman allowed just 1 hit in 3 1/3 innings, Yoshinora Tatiyama gave up just one hit in 2 innings, and Mark Lowe also allowed only 1 hit in 1 inning.  Mike Adams gave up 2 hits in 1 1/3 innings before Neftali Feliz finished the game by allowing just 1 hit in 1 2/3 innings.  Feliz is credited with his first win of the season.

At the plate, Mike Napoli hit a solo home run in the 6th inning and Michael Young tied the game with a 2-run homer in the bottom of the 9th.

Elvis Andrus scored the winning run in the 11th inning by scoring from 2nd on an infield hit by Josh Hamilton. 

The Rangers hold a 1-game lead over the Angels in the AL West and will host Cleveland again tonight.
