RoughRiders Lose To San Antonio

FRISCO, Texas – The Frisco RoughRiders, the Double-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers, surrendered four runs in the ninth, falling 5-3 to the San Antonio Missions in the second game of a four-game set Wednesday night at Dr Pepper Ballpark.

San Antonio scored four runs in the top of the ninth, capping the rally on Nick Torres’ two-run double off of Riders reliever Adam Loewen to complete the comeback.
The Riders broke a 1-1 tie in the sixth. With the bases loaded, San Antonio’s Rafael De Paula balked in the go-ahead run, allowing Jose Trevino to score from third base. Eric Aguilera’s sacrifice fly in the seventh added an insurance run, making it 3-1.
Connor Sadzeck did not earn a decision, but struck out six over six innings. He allowed one run on a wild pitch in the fourth inning. Two of the three singles he surrendered were infield singles.
