“I’ve been coming to Dallas Cup for 30 years,” said FC Dallas head coach Schellas Hyndman. “First, it was as a college coach at Illinois, then as a college coach here in Dallas. Now, I continue to go just to view all of the talent. It is one of the greatest soccer events in the United States.”

The final match of opening day will feature Manchester United’s Reserves against 2011 U.S. Soccer Development Academy runners-up, FC Dallas U18s. Fans attending Dr Pepper Dallas Cup XXXIII are invited to attend FC Dallas’ match against the New England Revolution on Thursday, April 5. That match is scheduled to kick off at 7:30 p.m. For ticket information, please visit www.FCDallas.com.

“No other tournament draws this level of competition on a yearly basis,” said Hyndman. “It’s not just the Under-19 group. It is the Under-16 Group, the Under-14 Group and the Under-12 Group. It is by far the best tournament in the United States. It has proven that over and over again.”

Championship weekend will kick off on Friday, April 6 with the Gordon Jago Super Group semifinals taking place at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. The championship games of all age groups will take place at FC Dallas Stadium on Saturday, April 7 and Sunday, April 8.
