Stars lose in OT

The Dallas Stars fell to the San Jose Sharks 4-3 in overtime Thursday night at the American Airlines Center.  Even with the loss, Dallas still leads the Pacific Division.

Stars Captain Brendon Morrow, playing with a broken nose suffered earlier this week, scored the first Dallas goal, with assists by Loui Erikkson and Stephane Robidas.  Erikkson then gave the Stars a temporary lead in the 2nd period with a goal.  Tom Wandell made the final Dallas score to send the game into overtime.

Stars goalie Kari Lehtonen, in his first game back from a back injury, saved 39 shots in the 43 shot onslaught by San Jose.  The Stars only made 18 shots on goal.

The Stars travel to Columbus Saturday night.
