Stars Shut Out By Ducks

The Dallas Stars lost to the Anaheim Ducks 4-0 Monday night at the American Airlines Center.

After a scoreless first period, the Ducks exploded for 3 goals in a span of less than 5 minutes midway into the 2nd.  Bobby Ryan opened the scoring for the Ducks with a power-play goal, followed quickly by goals from Corey Perry and Matt Beleskey.  Teemu Selanne wrapped up the night for Anaheim with an empty net goal.

Dallas attempted 26 shots, all stopped by Ducks goalkeeper Viktor Fasth who recorded his 3rd career shutout.  Dallas goalkeeper Kari Lehtonen fell to 12-10-2 on the season.

The Stars and Ducks play again Wednesday and Friday in Anaheim.
