Stars Shutout Canadians

The Dallas Stars shutout the Montreal Canadians 3-0 Tuesday night in Montreal.   The win is the Stars 30th of the year, the 15th consecutive season the Stars have had at least 30 victories.

Kari Lehtonen made 31 saves to get the shutout.  

Ryan Garbutt, playing in just his third game, scored his first NHL goal to open the scoring.  Mike Ribeiro scored on a wrist shot in the 3rd period, assisted by Trevor Daley and Mark Fistric.  Less than a minute later, Tom Wandell scored for the Stars, with an assist by Tomas Vincour.

The Stars travel to Chicago to face the Blackhawks on Thursday night.
