About the Stars

The Stars (29-27-10) are coming off a 5-4 loss at Tampa Bay Saturday night. The Stars had a 3-2 lead heading into the third period, but the Lightning struck for two quick goals early in the third to take the lead.

Tyler Seguin who missed the previously 10 games with a knee injury, returned to the lineup and scored two goals in the game for the Stars. John Klingberg, who left the game on Tuesday with a lower body injury, practiced today with the team in Frisco. He is listed day to day.

The Stars have gone 3-5-2 in their last 10 games and sit 10 points out of the final Western Conference playoff spot with 16 games remaining.

Tuesday’s game is the third of five straight on the road for the Stars.

Injuries: D John Klingberg (lower body) is day to day. D Trevor Daley (lower body), LW Travis Moen (upper body) and RW Valeri Nichushkin (hip) are out.

About the Flyers

With five weeks remaining in the regular season, Philadelphia (28-26-13) is 11th in the Eastern Conference and seven points behind Boston for the final wild-card spot. After yielding the tying goal with 14.1 seconds left in Saturday’s 3-2 overtime loss to the Bruins, the Flyers showed little fight while falling 5-2 at New Jersey a night later.

Claude Giroux has two goals with five assists in his last four games versus the Stars

Injuries: D Nicklas Grossman (upper body) is questionable. D Radko Gudas (knee) and D Michael Del Zotto (right foot) are out.
