Stars win in overtime

The Dallas Stars led twice, but had to go to overtime to defeat the Minnesota Wild 4-3.  Dallas has won 6 in a row.

Karlis Skrastins and Steve Ott gave the Stars a 2-0 lead before Minnesota came roaring back to tie the game.  Adam Burish put Dallas ahead in the 3rd period before the Wild tied the game again.

Stephane Robidas scored a power-play goal three and a half minutes into overtime to give the Stars the win.  “It wasn’t a great shot. I got lucky it went in,” Robidas said after his sixth career game-winner, second in overtime. “I had it in my mind to shoot it right away, so I just put it to the net and it went in. Maybe that threw (Theodore) off, too. It’s one of those goals that’s maybe not a pretty goal, but I’ll take it.”

Kari Lehtonen made 28 saves in the 33 shot assault by Minnesota.
