The TCU Horned Frogs came from behind to defeat No. 23 West Virginia 39-38 in double overtime.

After neither team scored in the first OT period, West Virginia took the lead with a Geno Smith 25-yard pass to Stedman Bailey.  TCU responded with a trick play reverse pass from receiver Brandon Carter to tight end Corey Fuller for a touchdown.  The Frogs then gambled and won on a 2-point conversion pass from quarterback Trevone Boykin to Josh Boyce.

With the win, TCU becomes bowl-eligible and snaps a 2-game losing streak.  The Frogs improve to 6-3 overall and 3-3 in the Big 12 conference.

Boykin passed for 254 yards, completing 12 of 29 attempts for 2 touchdowns.  Boykin connected with Boyce for a 94-yard touchdown with 1:28 remaining to send the game into overtime.

Boyce caught 6 passes for 180 yards and 2 touchdowns.  Boyce is now 2nd all-time in receiving yards for TCU with 2,331.

B.J. Catalon led TCU rushers with 39 yards on 15 carries.

TCU held West Virginia to just 78 yards rushing and 338 yards total.

Cornerback Jason Verrett intercepted a pass and blocked a field goal attempt.  It was his first career block.

TCU will host Kansas State Saturday in Fort Worth.
