TCU Loses To Oklahoma

The TCU Horned Frogs closed out their inaugural season in the Big 12 conference with a disappointing 24-17 loss to Oklahoma at the Amon Carter Stadium in Fort Worth.  TCU finished the season with a record of 7-5, 4-5 in the conference.  The Horned Frogs are bowl eligible for the 8th straight year.

 

TCU quarterback Trevone Boykin completed 17 of 31 passes for 231 yards and a touchdown.  Boykin also added a touchdown on 36 yards rushing.

Receiver Brandon Carter made the longest play of his career, an 80-yard touchdown catch in the third quarter.

Josh Boyce added 5 catches to give him 156 in his career to move him into 3rd place in school history.

B.J. Catalon led the Frogs in rushing with 51 yards on 11 carries.

Sam Carter recorded his 4th interception of the year, giving TCU a pick in 11 of 12 games this season.

The 12th-ranked Sooners clinched a share of the Big 12 title by winning their 8th straight Big 12 game.  Quarterback Landry Jones threw for 244 yards and 2 touchdowns.  

Damie Williams rushed for 115 yards and a touchdown on 18 carries.
