The Cowgirls were picked to finish first in the Big 12 this season after advancing

to the Elite Eight a year ago. They have struggled in conference play with a 1-3-1 record and have dropped or tied three of their last five games. Megan Marchesano is the leading offensive threat for Oklahoma State with 18 points (eight goals; two assists). She also has four game-winning goals this season. Adrianna Franch was a preseason all-conference member and has played all but 15 minutes in goal this season. She has a 0.86 GAA with five shutouts.

TCU and Oklahoma State will be meeting for the fifth time on Friday night. The Cowgirls own a 3-1 series lead, including each of the last two meetings. Two of the four meetings have taken place in Stillwater.

TCU is 1-1-0 against Oklahoma State on its home field. The Frogs came away with a 3-2 double overtime win on Sept. 10, 2000. The two teams have battled on the pitch each of the last two seasons as non-conference foes.

Oklahoma State escaped with a 1-0 win in Stillwater a year ago. The Cowgirls Kristen Kelley scored in the 17th minute and goalkeeper Adrianna Franch made five saves to preserve the shutout. Alicen Wright started in goal for the Frogs and had 10 saves.
