The Texas Rangers defeated the Boston Red Sox 3-0 with a strong outing by starting pitcher C.J. Wilson.  Wilson pitched 6 2/3 innings, giving up no runs and just 4 hits.

Nelson Cruz continued his hot streak at the plate, going 2 for 3 with an RBI and a run scored. 

Texas is now 6-9 on the season, 3 games behind Oakland in the American League West.
